Knitting pattern to make vintage 1960s  cable esign cardigan.  Make using Aran or 4 ply yarn. 

Size: 32 - 38 inch bust. 

Materials required: 
  • Aran/worsted weight yarn - approx 20 ounces.  4.00 mm and 5.00 mm needles. Cable needle.
  • 4 ply/sports weight yarn - 14 - 16 ounces. 3.00 mm and 3.75 mm needles. Cable needle.
  • 7 buttons
Due to the age of the pattern, the original yarn suggested may not be available.  It is recommended to crochet/knit a tension square with your chosen yarn, before starting, to ensure the finished garment or item is the size you require.
