ANNOYING LEGAL STUFF:

MERCURY, also known as quicksilver, was previously known as Hydragyrum (OH!  So, THAT is where the Hg comes from!), from the Greek words for "water" and "silver", which makes sense, since MERCURY is the only metallic element that is known to be liquid at room temperatures.  While it has (well, HAD) MANY commercial and industrial uses, soap is NOT one of them, especially since, at room or shower temps, it would all leak right out, so I am positive that there is NOT any actual MERCURY in some (or ANY) of the ingredients (as shown in the last photo), so this is NOT a bar of soap made from pure MERCURY!  Besides, due to its toxicity, MERCURY use has been greatly reduced and replaced in most common and popular applications.  Even so, MERCURY POISONING is a very serious health concern, as exemplified by Graham Parker's famous (and danceable) case, in which he so eloquently explains, "It's fatal and it don't get better!"  His case was a little different but still, these are important words to live by...or die by!

IMPORTANT PHOTO NOTE: Besides its gift box, each ELEMENT SOAP comes wrapped in plastic to protect it.  I did NOT unwrap these to take the photos...obviously!  As a result, the wrinkles, bubbles, reflections, "blemishes" on the lettering (or "missing" letters/numbers) which are ALL evident in my photos, are because of this wrapping, NOT any sloppy craftsmanship in any individual, hand-crafted piece.  These are all first quality or the Chief Bubble-maker would NEVER have sent these to me!  My photos are MY headache! (That's also why I took the "angle" photo...to show a different perspective that can allow such "issues" to be shown as the fault of the wrapping!)
