Description
This is a very nice looking and nicely styled antique mantle clock, and in very good condition. It was made by The Waterbury Clock Co. at Waterbury, Conn., USA. circa 1925. It is in good running condition, keeping time and striking on a quality heavy coil gong. It counts out each hour, for example; 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. and announces each half hour with a single toll.
Timeless in styling, this clock has already lasted 80 to 90 years and still looks great. The original silvered dial is in pretty good condition.
The case is also in nice shape. The finish is nicely aged and worn, giving it a warm, genuine antique appearance.
It measures approx 20 ½" long x 9 ½" high x 6" deep. It is complete with a key and pendulum.
