Beautiful set of 2 lovebirds

or DOVES I'm guessing.

They are white with a gritty sand feel.  I think they

have the residue of shiny sand at one time left on them

for an ever so slight shimmer.  Not as noticeable now

as it may have been.  As you can see in the pictures,

they left some grit on my table.  :-)

I just noticed that one of the birds has a  pretty even

slice all the way around it's lower body.   I don't recall

these birds ever breaking and being reattached....and if

one did break, it's odd that it would be a perfect cut all

the way around.  I'm guessing that's how they may have

been made or assembled and this bird just didn't get enough

covering to hide the slice.

To be honest, I never even noticed it all these years I stared

at them in the curio cabinet but am mentioning it now in

case you're looking for something ultra perfect.  These are many

years old so if you're just looking for some beautiful lovebirds

to display---then these are up your alley.

They are slightly heavy, so they might cost a bit more to ship.
