About these stamps: In 1999, the USPS issued four 33-cent Xtreme Sports commemorative stamps were issued in San Francisco, California.   Digitally enhanced photographs of skateboarding, BMX biking, snowboarding, and in-line skating are featured.  These uniquely American sports have gained world-wide attention and recognition.  

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847.  Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. These stamps have been designated as Scott Number 3324a.
