What im offering here is a battery replacement service for gameboy pocket, color and advanced internal save batteries batteries. Simple repairs on gameboys can be done too, no charge if included with a game to repair, but the problem cant be resolved.
Also while not right now, i am able to repair severe screen-burn and will be offering this service soon. screen burn is just a breakdown in the polarizer and is completely reversible. This service wont cost very much either but first i need to test  the time and safe solvents/methods to use on samples of burned displays i currently have.

Right about now game owners will notice all their old save files beginning to diminish, games resetting. Gameboy color and pocket cartridges use volatile memory, meaning they need power to stay active, when the battery inside runs out, the game can no longer save. Gameboy advance games on the other hand do not, its extremely likely your game is permanently dead if it no longer saves but does use a battery.

Ill desolder and resolder the internal cr2025 (or CR1616 for those that can only fit a CR1616) and replace it with a fresh new long life lithium one which should last 14-25 years.
a CR2025 will be used if i can make it fit. both are 3V cells so it doesnt matter which one is used. Its actually unlikely that youd get more than a few years more out of a 2025 over a 1616 due to various reasons, but if its really a concern, let me know, both cost the same so it has no impact on pricing.

While im at it, i will also iso clean the contacts and apply some dielectric grease for contacts, to preserve the contact material which also should be failing about now, and clean up any corrosion or oxidation that made its way into the cartridge.

When you place your order, please let me know if theres any weird behaviour beforehand, like the save file being corrupted, or the game glitching, ill need you to run a test first to confirm its not permanent damage to the SRAM.
Otherwise, ill give you an address, and you send me your games. the postage you pay is for your return post. It would be preferable instead if you could just include a prepaid satchel for return postage, if you want to do this, select the free-postage option. Local drop off/pickup is available too, i am located in Kingston, QLD 4114.

Default postage for $6.60 is tracked large letter in a card envelope. Please pay attention to the names of the postage services available in the "postage and payments" tab, but also disregard ebays estimate for when you will receive your game back, its more or less just 2 handling days + 2x postage time which is 3-5 days 90% of the time.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT POSTAGE

The most common way people are sending me their games is by large letter, so this is extremely important, DO NOT send your games in any kind of packaging that they can be torn out of. strictly use boxes made of cardboard or envelopes/flat-pack boxes like CD mailers, made of rigid card. bubblewrap bags are good but confirm it will go through as a large letter at the counter. If going with parcel service, best just go with a box with plenty padding inside.
Australia post also now has tracked large letter for around $5-6 in a very large card envelope, this includes insurance. relative to the cost of your games its a small price to pay, these games are exactly the right shape to get ripped out of thin paper envelopes by machinery.

Lastly, the reason the delivery time appears so long is because i cant send the game to you until i receive it and repair it, games are sent back the day after they are repaired which is same or 1 day handling. i have to run a 2nd test on the game after 12 hours to make sure its good to go. Otherwise delivery times are around on 4-6 business days to get back to you. all options include tracking so youll be able to see though. Please make sure when you order you are ready to send it to me immediately, as late postage on your part, means late postage on my side, which impacts my ratings.

International postage

Due to covid some places will not accept international shipments unless by "standard" or "registered" services. for australia post, "standard" is registered, normal economy doesnt include reliable tracking half the time.
So, while i take international orders, you may need to wait a day or 2  before i can 100% confirm that i will be able to mail you your games back for the cost of the postage that you selected. For anyone in New Zealand this is not a problem, new zealand may as well be another territory of australia as far as the postal services are concerned. For anyone in the US, i almost certainly wont have issues. In japan and the UK availability is good but not always perfect. I dont trust the websites so before anything happens, i will physically confirm at the post office that delivery will be clear.
