This is an amazing piece - a hand-made copy ( or, as the signature says, a "kopie" ) of a very old illumination framed in a simple walnut frame behind glass ;measuring 7 1/2" by 7 1/2"
Despite being fluent in German, I can not decipher the name of the artist; it's interesting that he calls himself "Herr" - Mister, rather than give his first name.
