Offering a beautiful hand-painted urn with lid by Herend, Hungary in the Queen Victoria pattern, production beginning in 1966. Pattern features flowers and butterflies with a green and gilt border. Herend porcelain plaque not included

 

First presented during the London World Exhibition in 1851, where it caught Queen Victoria's eye and was later ordered in a large table service in the pattern for Windsor Castle; pattern was later named after her and is one of Herend’s most popular patterns.  

 

Measures 8 ¼” high without lid x 10” high to top of finial x 6 ½” handle to handle


Urn is in Near Mint condition free of chips, cracks, repairs or wear
