As you can see, the dust jacket is in terrible shape, but it may have helped the book itself survive. The hard back book has a tan cloth cover.

This is a historical fiction book involving the 1862 Lakota Sioux uprising. It is illustrated throughout and contains 132 pages.

There is an inscription as a gift on the inside page. It is dated 1929. All pages are clean and almost appears not to have been read.
