Perry Rhodan is the eponymous hero of a German science fiction novel series which has been published each week since September 1961. The first 126 novels were translated into English and published by Ace Books between 1969 and 1978. The books incorporated elements reminiscent of the SF pulp magazines such as short stories, serialized novels and a film review section.
The story line starts in 1971 with the first manned moon landing by US Space Force Major Perry Rhodan and his crew, who discover a marooned extraterrestrial space ship from the (fictional) planet Arkon. The story continues and the scope widens to encompass other galaxies, extremely remote parts of space, parallel universes and weirder cosmic structures, time travel, paranormal powers and numerous aliens.
#60 Dimension Search - In January 2042, Perry Rhodan and Reginald Bell are worried. It is time that they renew their cellular shower that must, by necessity, take place before May first. But Wanderer is not where it should be. The artificial planet was almost certainly the victim of the interference between the two temporal planes.
