Information on germinating the seeds and how to use coir pellets
Used by many cultures throughout the world, this plant has a long history of use. It is commonly mixed with other plants including Mandrake and Belladonna to make “flying brew“.
We have developed our packaging to be as environmentally conscious as possible. Everything is recyclable. We use natural, compostable materials wherever possible.
Germination & Growing Notes
To grow outdoors, it is best to plant in autumn as this will naturally stratify the seeds. As these seeds contain germination inhibitors, not all of the seeds will germinate in the first year. Do not cover the seeds over as they require light to germinate.
Black Henbane seeds need time in cold storage for a few weeks if they are to be planted indoors. Our seeds have already undergone this process.
Next you need to soak your seeds to remove the germination inhibitors. Soak in water for 24 hours but change the water every few hours. At the end of 24 hours the seeds should be rinsed thoroughly before planting. Scatter the seeds on the surface of moist compost and Place somewhere that gets a lot of light.
The seedlings can be transplanted outside or into larger pots when they have 2 sets of true leaves. Wait until there is no chance of anymore frost before planting them outside.

Seeds are live products that rely on many important factors such as grower skill, planting time, seed depth, soil type and weather conditions to grow. Germination is affected by many things that are out of the control of Bee Kind Reimagined and although we do everything we can to get seeds to you in the best possible condition, once you receive your seeds it is out of our hands. Therefore we can take no responsibility for any successes or failures you may encounter whist growing our seeds and will not be able to make refunds once the package has been opened.
