Lovely cotton fabric dating from the middle of last century, probably from c. 1940 - 1970.  It has just a little bit of crispness to it, and very lightly sheer - It is NOT a true sheer. If you look closely in the closeup picture, you can see the shadow of the fabric underneath. 34 inches wide. 100% cotton. Suitable for quilting, crafts, applique and light weight clothing applications: blouses, dresses, kitchen curtains, dress or camp shirts. PRICE IS FOR 1/2 yard. I am not an expert. Many vintage fabrics do not come with fiber content tags, so the fiber content listed is frequently a best guess with approximate date of manufacture, handling properties and burn tests for back up. As a general rule, most of the fabrics I have collected over the years are natural fabrics (cotton, linen, rayon, wool, silk, or a blend thereof) When there is an exception or doubt, it will be noted in the listing.

 Non-smoking household. No fireplace, no incense burning. Fabrics are stored in a closed cabinet. I do have a cat, but she is not allowed in the sewing room. I do unfold yardage to measure it, so a stray cat hair, although unlikely, is possible.

Returns are NOT accepted for yardage cut to your specifications. Returns may be accepted in some instances for items sold by the piece (not cut) if returned in exactly the same condition as was when shipped out and feedback has been left. Cotton fabrics are sold PER 1/2 YARD. If you order more than one-half yard, it will arrive in one continuous piece unless otherwise stated in the listing. I will not cut pieces smaller than one-half yard. (Fat quarters will occasionally be listed already cut). Other fabrics, such as linen, wool, silk, rayon and true sheers, typically not used for quilting, are sold by the PIECE.
