This is the 28" BARREL   off of a  Savage SPRINGFIELD Model 944 Series A  12 gauge  Shotgun.  In  good used condition with handling dings & scuffs from use. It is missing the stud for a screw on forend.  It will need to be replaced.   It has a bright smooth shiny bore. I'm sure it needs a good cleaning. It is stamped: SPRINGFIELD MODEL 944 Series A -  SAVAGE ARMS,  WESTFIELD MASS. USA - PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE - 3 INCH CHAMBER .    Comes just as pictured.
