The third statue in the Batman Black & White Series which first deputed in 2005. This is a 1st edition statue. This statue is designed by well known artist Tim Sale. Sale, an American Eisner Award-winning comics artist, was best known for his work on the DC Comics characters Batman and Superman and for influencing depictions of the Caped Crusader in numerous films and did an issue in 1997 "Night After Night" in the "Batman: Gotham Knights" series Vol.2 . Produced in 2005 by DC Direct, this piece was sculpted by Jonathan Matthews. It is limited to 5000 units. This statue perfectly captures the art of Tim Sale and is in beautiful condition. It has never been displayed and has no scrapes, scuffs, cracks, breaks, or factory defects. Statue measures approximately 6 1/2" tall x 5 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. #4380/5000
