Here we have a wonderful late 1800's Pitcher. Made
out of parian or jasper pottery with an blue base and white relief work. There
is a face of the god bacchus on either side and with grapes and vines encircling
him. Bacchus was the Roman god of agriculture, wine and fertility, equivalent to
the Greek god Dionysus. Don't miss out!

In great condition with only a
tiny nick on the top rim edge.
