Our summer sausage fibrous casings are about as fresh as you will find. We reorder every 1 to 2 weeks. You can smell the freshness in every order you receive. To store at home, just place them in a ziplock baggie and they will keep for up to 2 years in a cool place.
Our fibrous casings are permeable allowing smoke flavor to enter while creating a uniformed flavorful product. Simply hydrate these casings in warm water for 30 minutes before stuffing. Pre-tied on one end and open on the other. String tie, staple or tape loose end when full. Just add venison, elk, moose, hog, beef or any other favorite meat.
