Entitled "Portrait of Me at Twilight", this photograph is by American photographer John Patrick Dugdale (1960-). The self-portrait, a toned cyanotype print dated to 1995, features the artist lying on the sofa facing down with his hand touching the floor. The prone half-naked figure was bathed in the soft glow of the twilight. The toned yellowish color gives the print an ethereal and dreamy antique quality, a signature quality of the darkroom craft by the artist who had nearly lost all his eyesight.
Framed in the artist made wood frame with new Museum rated UV glass, the image measures 10" x 8" and 14.5" x 12.5" with frame.
On verso it retains the Dugdale's studio label represented by Wessel O'Conner Gallery NYC, which bears his signature in ink, title, date, print type and edition notation #3 of 10. A relatively rare print from the artist's.
