This is a wonderful autobiography of a guide to wagon trains across the plains of the western frontier. The book is in good to very good condition; the spine is tight, and the cover is clean with minor scuffing, and/or bumping.  The pages are clear and easily readable, with minor yellowing.  The dust jacket has moderate chipping and tears and is in fair condition.  See photographs.

This is a wonderful historical book, and it would be an excellent addition to anyone's library.

The book is about 5-1/4" x 7-1/2" x 1-1/4", 407 pages, and about .1-2 lbs.+/- with packaging.
