You are bidding on the Official 100th Birthday Photograph of Marjory Stoneman Douglas commemorating the dedication of the High School in Parkland, Florida bearing her name.

The beautiful and peaceful community of Parkland, Florida is the home of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. 

It was the site of the tragic killing of students and teachers by a deranged former student.

The Official 100th Birthday Photograph is in excellent condition, nicely matted and framed under glass with the dedication plaque affixed to the glass immediately below the photograph. 

Signed by Majory Stoneman Douglas who was present at the dedication.

Coral Ridge Properties was the developer of the western area of Parkland, Florida and provided the 45 acre site to the School Board of Broward County for the high school that was to be named after noted environmentalist Marjory Stoneman Douglas. 

The new high school served both the City of Parkland and the City of Coral Springs that had also been developed by Coral Ridge Properties.
