Up for sale is a very rare Bill Singer 1977 Holiday Inn MSA Baseball Card Disc from a set break. His nicknames included "Sing Sing," "Billy No-No" and "The Singer Throwing Machine." He was a two time All-Star, had 118 career wins, had a 3.39 ERA, and over 1,500 strikeouts.
The condition is "acceptable", which is judged to be "very good" in this instance. Please read the description very carefully. There's some black streaks near the player, position and team name on the front of the disc. Other imperfections include surface scratches, indentations, and "dings". There's also corner/perimeter wear, miscellaneous marks/soiling and yellowing due to age. There's some edge/perimeter wear/deterioration on the side of the disc. Please see photos for more information.
Despite its flaws, given its scarcity, it would make a nice addition to the collection of any Bill Singer or Toronto Blue Jays fan. It would also be great for any vintage "oddball" baseball card or memorabilia collector.
The complete set, of which, this disc is a part contained 70 discs. They were used as a promotion item by Holiday Inn. MSA - Michael Schechter & Associates, had a partnership with the Players’ Union to create these "food issue" collectibles. The discs measure 3- 3/8 inches in diameter. The discs were given away when a children's meal was purchased at the Holiday Inn restaurant.
Purchase in total confidence with our 100% positive feedback. The disc will be shipped free to the buyer safely and securely via the USPS in a toploader.
Please let me know your favorite baseball team at checkout and you will receive a free "bonus" item.
