For sale: Sega Master System: Strider w/U.S. UPC sticker (damaged, but present) and Cartridge, Instructions, and Box (CIB) in acceptable condition. The first six images are scans and the rest were taken with a camera. Box opens/closes properly and tightly. Box is in nice condition; it's just missing the hang tab. Plastic covering has light scratches - somewhat hard to see, but present nonetheless. The U.S. UPC sticker is damaged, but present. Artwork has vivid colors and very little wear, if any. Black plastic portion of cartridge has the usual marks from inserting/removing. Cartridge label has very little wear along edge. Manual is completely legible and has curling, wrinkles, creases, and possibly other minor imperfections (see pics - the gray areas result from not being perfectly flat on the scanner). Priced below market value due to condition of manual. More pictures/information available upon request.


The cartridge plays on my console as shown in the pictures. If for some reason the game does not load on your system, then clean the contacts on your system. This game works fine for me and should for you, too. I try to include enough pictures to accurately show the overall condition; however, since condition is a matter of opinion, please ask questions prior to purchasing.

 

Pricing is based on market trends as well as current prices on eBay. Items are typically priced to be one of (if not the) cheapest on eBay at the time of listing.


Feedback should be based on the seller's ability to communicate with the buyer, describe/package the item(s) properly, and time needed to take the package to the shipper. I will always send the buyer a message thanking him/her for the purchase. In that message, I will include photographs of the product with the packaging slip attached and provide a shipping update. I'd be willing to bet very few, if any, other sellers take the time to provide such communication. Please keep in mind, the seller is NOT the shipper (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx); therefore, feedback should not be based on the time the shipper takes to deliver the package. Feedback should also not be based on your personal like/dislike for the product, which has nothing at all to do with the seller's performance.


Shipping: After payment is received, items will be shipped by the next business day (Mon-Sat) through the USPS (or similar). I'll pay for shipping within the contiguous 48 states at either a standard (2 - 5 business days) or economy rate (2 - 10 business days). Single games will be shipped in a bubble mailer. If you desire to receive the game sooner, then select the Priority Mail option (1-3 business days), which will add $7 to the sales price. Orders consisting of two or more games will be shipped in a box via USPS Ground Advantage (or similar). 


All international shipping will be handled through the Global Shipping Program. Note: Items may take longer to arrive than the estimated delivery date.

Please note: The item is used and is therefore NOT brand new. If you are expecting an item that is gem mint, then your expectations for this item are too high. I tried to show the overall condition in the numerous pictures and description; however, you may notice some flaws that I did not, such as (but not limited to) stains, writing, holes, odors, scratches, loose pages, creases, tears, tape or glue residue, etc. I have therefore listed the item's condition as 'acceptable' to account for any difference in opinion. If you are expecting an item that is in acceptable condition, then the chances are the actual condition will exceed your expectations. Please ask questions prior to purchase and I will answer as best I can. I want you to be pleased with your purchase. Only the item stated in the title is being sold and is sold 'as is.'


The correct use of "CIB" means Cartridge, Instructions, and Box. "CIB" does not mean "Complete In Box." Since the word 'complete' denotes the box and everything else originally enclosed when purchased new is also included, adding "In Box" doesn't make sense. If "CIB" were to mean "Complete In Box," then would "CB" mean "Complete Box" (whatever that is)? No. "CB" designates "Cartridge, Box" (no manual). Would "CI" mean "Complete In"? Obviously not. "CIB" certainly does not mean "Cartridge In Box," either, as some unscrupulous sellers have claimed.  

 

Sadly, many sellers list incomplete items as "complete," which constitutes fraud. Something is not complete if some element is missing (i.e. instructions, maps, cartridges, overlays, posters, promotional items, bonus material or anything else that originally came with the item when purchased new). For example, The Legend of Zelda originally came with a map as clearly stated on both the front and back covers of the box. Is the map missing? If so, then it's definitely not complete and should not be listed as "complete." Sellers who list incomplete items as "complete" will be added to my blocked list as I only want to deal with honorable people. I encourage buyers to reward honest sellers, who put forth an effort to thoroughly photograph and describe items accurately. Help make the eBay community better for all!
