GASKETS KIT for la Pavoni models made from year '75 to '99 , also called pre millennium models or 2nd generation.
Important: Please indicate the exact model year of your Pavoni in the comments section of your order or provide a photo by message. This is due to the slightly different gasket diameter of early pre millennium 2nd gen Pavoni.

This kit increases thermal insulation between the group head and the boiler to ease the overheating problem and to allow faster cooling of the group between espresso shots. Performance video demo below (side by side comparison with and without gasket kit).
Pre-millennium group head has two holes (top and bottom of the piston). One hole connects directly to the water pipe of the boiler. This is unchanged.
It's only reconnected with a little bit of Teflon tape.
Instead the major insulation comes from blocking the hot steam from the boiler to enter the group head "around" the water pipe.
This is achieved thanks to a 3 layer of round gaskets.
Installation video instructions will be provided.
The kit includes:
- 1x gasket of 2 mm thickness made of specific high temperature, pressure and water resistant gasket material.
- Round gaskets assembly (1x silicone + 2x Teflon + metal clamp) and some Teflon tape for the threads of the boiler-group water pipe.
Optional: i will include one longer group head bolt of 20 mm length only if the gasket is bought together my group head thermometer. It will replace the original 16 mm bolt. Gasket + metal support total thickness is 3 mm. No need to replace the bolt on the right side.

NOTE: i strongly suggest to have also a group head thermometer to control the temperature, otherwise it's like to be blind.
