Tips: About the Bose Sound Dock, this adapter does not support the First Generation Bose SoundDock speakers due to the dock socket does not provide 5V power. If you look at the label on the bottom, above the serial number, it should say the name of your Sound Dock system. If it doesn't mention "Series" or "Portable" then it is a Series I. The easiest way to tell if you have a Bose series I dock is if it has an AUX/AUDIO IN connection in the back of the dock. If it doesn't have an AUX input, then it is a Bose Series I
