  3. Old-Imari is Imari-yaki porcelain made in the Edo period (1800s).
  4. At that time, it was transported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, where it was used to decorate the palaces of royalty and aristocrats.

Appearance

  1. Sometsuke is a blue painting on a white background, in which a pattern is drawn on the base material with a blue pigment called gosu, and then a transparent glaze is applied and baked.
  2. The simple blue and white dyeing is Imari's oldest porcelain.

Condition

  1. Good. Already used.
  2. Since it is quite old, there are threads, stains, and kiln scratches, but there is no major damage.
