Description
I am certainly no expert in compacts but I believe this was a very expensive one in its day. Mid 1930's or earlier. Double handle case is heavy suede leather. I do not know the reasoning for the rectangle opening on the side. The compact measures 5 1/2' X 3 1/2". Marked "S.A.R.I. PARCO, Paris, France". I tried to do research on this compact and company and found nothing. Overall in very good condition. It used to snap shut, but I can't get it do that now. Bevel glass mirror has some foxing and cracking in it. All compartments open and close fine with lipstick on a spring so it pops up. Interior needs further cleaning. Please see pictures and message me with any questions. Thank you for looking.
