Turkish Walnut - This wood comes from the species "Juglans Regia" that originated in Iran and is the same species as English Walnut. Although the mineral content in the Turkish soil gives the wood a different color, it still has the dark brown or black mineral lines. The base color of the wood tends to have a range from light honey to a subtle orange cast. The Dreamcycle resin matched with the Turkish Walnut really sets this pen apart from the otheres

As a world renowned artisan, I was able to form this fine writing instrument through a painstaking process that involved several hours and stages in order to present a finely polished work of art. The blank was measured and drilled before inserting a brass tube. It was then trued on each end before being placed on my Delta midi-lathe for the shaping using various chisels. When the desired shape was achieved I then took it through a multi-stage sanding process finishing with nine steps of micro-mesh, followed by a multi step polishing resulting in a glass like finish.
