RECOMMENDED FOR: Step One: Remove handle portion of the Bagel Guillotine from the base by grasping the top of the handle with one hand and holding the base with the other hand. Step Two: Place the bagel the base. Then position the handle directly over the base, with the blade pointing downwards. The handle will 'sleeve' over the base. Push straight down until the handle portion meets the base. Step Three: Holding the bottle of the base with one hand, life the handle portion up. Then remove your perfectly sliced bagel. If the bagel sticks, use a utensil to push down of the bagel to lose it.
