Listing is for a repair service for your amp. This includes the replacement of all capacitors, testing and shipping back to you. Turnaround time is usually 24 hrs after receiving amp. We test your received amplifier to verify the fault and test again after repairs are done to verify it is fully functional and the issue has been resolved.

Beware when buying amps used. Most will suffer with similar defects or fail within a short period of time.

-Repair Process Steps:

  1. Purchase this listing to send your amplifier for repair
  2. You will receive a message after purchase with a shipping address shortly after
  3. Send your amplifier with a description of your fault symptoms and eBay buyer name or order #
  4. Once your amplifier is received, it will be tested before and after repairs are done and you will be notified at every step
  5.  Amplifier will be sent back once repairs are done.

-Symptoms caused by faulty amplifier

Low volume, buzzing, static noise through speakers, engine rpm over speakers, speakers not working, subwoofer not working or low bass, bad overall sound quality ect..

-Why is this happening?

Faults above are caused by faulty capacitors or capacitors that are going bad in the amplifier. This is very common on 2004 to 2006 Acura TL as they had lower grade capacitors. Not as common on 2007 to 2008 as Acura upgraded the capacitors in the amplifiers. They still fail as these vehicles are coming up on 20years old and capacitors degrade over time. For this reason, ALL CAPACITORS are replaced with Nichicon capacitors on every amplifier.

Repaired quite a few of these units and provide a warranty to back up our work. Also have radio and navigation replacement units available.

-Replaced amplifier but I am still having issues with my sound.

If you replaced the amplifier and you are still having issues please let us know. 95% of faults in the audio system are related to the amplifier in our experience (100+ amplifier repairs). Other faults that cause symptoms above are related to your charging system (alternator and battery) and your radio head unit. If you have any aftermarket setups (radio or speakers), we cant predict how the factory amplifier function with an aftermarket setup.

-WARRANTY

Amplifier is covered for 60 days (maximum amount allowed by eBay). If you have any issues with the amplifier, please contact us with your issue. We cant help you if we are not aware you are having issues.
