This 700-2&3 Reprogramming Kit fits 1982 to 1993 General Motors vehicles equipped with the 700R4/4L60 automatic transmission.

There are two installation options with this kit. The first option gives you fully automatic shifts in “D” as well as the ability to hold any gear to any speed with the shift lever. It also allows for downshifts to any gear at any speed by moving shift lever. High throttle 3-4 shift is controlled by shift lever. The second option gives you manual shifts only. The transmission will start off in whatever gear the shift lever is in and will shift to any gear at any speed by moving the shift lever. This kit also includes our #7-CS 3-4 clutch piston return spring kit for the input drum which reduces centrifugal 3-4 clutch apply and failure in 1st gear at 5500 RPM or higher.
Lastly the kit can be installed with the transmission in vehicle or on the bench. However, transmission removal is necessary to install the clutch piston return spring kit.

We WILL NOT pay for return shipping for parts ordered in error. If you order the incorrect part and start a return selecting the reason to be anything otherwise, you will be reported to eBay in order to recoup shipping fees.  


All Ford branded parts are genuine Ford OEM part. We purchase directly from Ford Components in bulk, which means the parts may not come in traditional dealer-branded packaging. Additionally, part numbers are removed (dremeled off) per our pricing agreement with Ford Components to ensure any returns are processed through us and not a dealership. Rest assured, the quality and fitment are identical to what you’d receive from a dealer.

Your order will be shipped within 1 business days (MON-FRI excluding holidays) of receiving payment and you should expect to receive it five to seven days via US Postal Service or UPS Ground Standard Shipping unless another shipping method is chosen.  In addition to UPS Ground, we offer expedited services as well as local pick-up. Please contact us if a quote is needed and we will be happy to work with you.


Please Note: All packages valued at over $500 WILL require a signature upon delivery. 


If your package arrives damaged, please do not open it and contact us immediately.  If you install damaged parts they will not be returnable.


If your package is returned by the carrier due to address errors, you will be responsible for the shipping cost. 


International Customers:

Please make sure you monitor your package. Any import duty/taxes must be paid by the buyer. If you do not pay in a timely fashion your package will be returned. You will not receive a refund for the returned items until they’re delivered. Shipping fees will not be reimbursed. ​​​​​​​

CORE RETURN DIRECTIONS & GUIDELINES


  • Cores must returned within 30 days of the original purchase or any claim to warranty will be null/void.
  • Cores must exhibit normal wear and tear conditions.
  • Cores must be drained of internal fluids.
  • Cores should be wrapped in plastic when repacked for shipment. A garbage bag will suffice.
  • Repack your core inside the box the replacement part was received in. It is extremely important that the core be returned inside its original box for identification purposes.
  • Securely tape your package closed.
  • PLEASE mark the outside of your box clearly and in large lettering with the words "CORE RETURN". This helps make sure that your package remains identified within the warehouse as a core.
  • If the item you purchased has a refundable core charge, you, as the buyer are responsible for return shipping to receive core credit.



Whatever It Takes will not be liable for shipping damage due to being improperly boxed.
Whatever It Takes will not be liable for fees, such as taxes, duties, customs associated with international shipments, or lost shipments.

If you’re having an issue with a used or remanufactured item and it’s been installed, we require the buyer to contact us immediately so we can provide trouble shooting information. Worst case scenario if that fails, exchange only.
