Vintage Ceramic Cash Family Pitcher – The Cash Family (Ray and Pauline Cash) have been making beautiful pottery since 1945 in Erwin, Tennessee.  The pitcher has a lovely design of green leaves and what looks like berries with berry-colored leaves.  Hand painted this ceramic pitcher measures 8.5” high x 7” wide.  Spout to handle 8.5”.  Holds 64 ounces = 8 cups.  The top by the handle rim has a chip on it and has a 1” hairline crack by it and it was colored in with green marker.  There is another smaller chip at the handle base as well that has not been touched up.  I tried to capture this in the photoslisted. Both repairs are an easy fix I've been told.

The bottom is stamped MADE BY CASH FAMILY, HAND PAINTED,ERWIN, TENN.  This is a great piece for anyvintage pottery collector or Cash Family Pottery collector.  I was told by my grandmother that she bought this piece new from the Cash Family Store when she was visiting friends inTennessee in the 1950’s.  Since we are downsizing, we decided to sell it to someone who will use and hopefully put it on display.  It can still be used even if just to put flowers in it, it would look wonderful.
