Antique Victorian Goffering Iron Stand likely English primitive decorative arts
Not something I normally sell, but thought it was so cool when I picked it at an estate sale.
For your consideration is this antique Victorian goffering iron, likely English, possibly circa 1880s.
Made of wrought iron. Originally used for ironing delicate collars and cuffs which had pleats and frills. In as found vintage condition with over a century of rust/patina but structurally sound. Some deformation to edge of base.
Size: base diameter: 4 inches; width of ironing arm: 4.5” inches; height: 5-5/8” inches.
It will weigh 1-2lbs packed safely. Thank you.
