(first gen '60-'74 excluded because it doesn't have the two group bolt)


1) Group head thermometer with thin flat sensor: ideal for metal surfaces and with pre-attached adhesive for fast application.

Note: the video is for chrome version. For gold version, the last layer of the adhesive tape will be the gold/orange Kapton tape because it will better match the brass of the group head.

2) Gold metal enclosure support fixed by the bolt of the left side group head boiler

Adhesive patch of the sensor made of 3 layers: kapton (orange tape) + aluminum high temperature tape + kapton again for top finish (matches brass color better than aluminum) (some extra tape is included as spare parts)

Espresso taste is very sensitive to water temperature. You can feel the taste difference even with a 1° degree variation. 
Without a thermometer, it's like to be blind about the actual temperature.
Proper espresso extraction occurs at 88°C to 96°C (190°F to 205°F).
The group temperature reading acts like a reference point: it should be some degrees lower than the desired water temperature above the coffee grounds (i sell also another type of thermometer to measure the actual water extraction temperature inside the portafilter, i call it portafilter thermometer).
The group temperature will determine the actual extraction temperature consistently.

Both shipping methods use the Italian postal service (www.poste.it) and they will be delivered by the national postal service of the country of destination.
Delivery time for both methods is the same (note that eBay estimates are not correct and too optimistic).
On average it will take about 2-3 weeks for Europe/UK/Canada/US and may take a couple of weeks more for the rest of the World. Precise delivery time is unpredictable, it depends on the country of destination.

In case of delivery problems (address etc..), you may contact your nearest postal office for information about the
