Vintage Japanese Temple Jar - 1960s ~ Gold Finial on Lidded Hand-Painted Ginger Jar. 8”Tall w lid. 5 5/8” without lid. Jar opening is 2 3/8” in diameter. The jar itself is approximately 5.25”Wide. Made in Japan.

This is a White porcelain jar decorated in a Chinoiserie fashion with prominent colors being Blue, Mauve, Rust & Green. The jar and lid are ringed with 14k Gold bands. The finial is gold that has remained unscratched over time! A previous owner has added furniture protection pads to the piece.

MINT condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or signs of restoration. A good gift for someone who has everything-it’s just a beautiful hand-painted work from the past to be admired.
