❤Rare, Antique Bisque Porcelain Doll in Vintage Dress, 11 Movable  Body Joints❤

70 years ago, my mother-in-law had her own antique doll "dressed up" by a Mrs. Wilson in Janesville, Wisconsin.  Mrs. Wilson made the lace trimmed dress, and possibly the two lace-trimmed petty coats and bloomers.  The under garments may be older than the dress.  She also added the beautifully styled auburn colored wig, the pearl necklace, full leg stockings and a pair of ribbon-tied shoes.

I find this particular doll unusually life like.  Her complexion appears soft, and natural, NOT like glazed china. Her head rotates and tilts.  She has a SOLID body.  Her arms not only have shoulder joints, but moveable elbows and wrists.  Her legs move at the hips, and they also flex at the knees.  Possibly,  you may have not run across a doll with this much "life" either? Typical modern dolls don't.

Enjoy looking over the photographs of this fine lady wearing a pearl necklace and a shear, red-flowered dress.   You may also find and appreciate subtle touches that make her outstanding.

Markings on the back of the porcelain head/torso are:  "79.3X"  "Germany" and "H."

Feel free to ask for more information or to see different, more specific photos, besides those posted.

After receiving payment confirmation, typically I'll carefully, "soft pack" her for shipment on the next business day, using the (insured) shipping method you've chosen.  Consider choosing "Local Pickup" for the best protection against any shipping damage.

Enjoy!
