This item is listed as brand new because that is the exact same way I received it. Any flaws of any kind that you might see were there when I got the item originally. In this case, there is a mark on the left middle side of the front cover near the word electric. There is some rubbing on the bottom left corner of the front cover. The back cover has a sizable crease that runs through the words the, turbo and power.

I only opened this item to take photos for you, so it has had very minimal handling by me.
