Do you skip quoting lower quantity jobs because they take just as much effort to quote as higher quantity jobs and thus the return on investment is lower?  

Do you exclusively use CAD/CAM to quote?  Do you use advanced canned cycles in CAM software to create tool paths? Do you require a 3D drawing to quote?

Do you use G-Code with conversational processing? Do you program right at the machine? Is this also your quoting process?

Do you still use an old, outdated, spreadsheet, to quote?

Can you quickly and easily simulate multiple scenarios to machine a part and then select the most optimum for your shop? 

Of course,quoting should be done prior to programming. You should know where you are going prior to getting there.
