General Description:

Juglans nigra.  American Black Walnut has a rich dark brown to purplish-black heartwood and a much paler sapwood.  It is mainly straight grained, but with wavy or curly grain occasionally present.  The weight averages at 640kg/m3.

Uses :

American black walnut is a very high value timber that is reserved for fine quality furniture, cabinetmaking and interior joinery.  It is used in musical instruments, clockcases, turnery and carving.

This timber can be delivered by carrier or collection is possible by arrangement from our works near Eccleshall, Stafford (approximately 9 miles from Junctions 14 or 15 of the M6).  The delivery shown is for mainland UK delivery (England, Wales and Scotland excluding highlands).  Payment should be via PayPal or cash on collection.
