The level of hardness of this Land Rover Range Rover Evoque L538 magnetic ride shock absorber (LR070932) is continuously adapted to the profile of the road and the style of the driver via the sensors.

A synthetic hydrocarbon oil circulates in the pistons of the shock absorbers, containing microscopic magnetic particles with a grain size of 3 to 10 thousandths of a millimeter
- a human hair is ten times thicker.
When voltage is applied to a coil integrated into the damper, a magnetic field is created in which the particles realign themselves.
They lie transversely to the direction of flow of the oil in the piston channels and thus inhibit its flow.
This process takes place in a few milliseconds.
Fed by sophisticated sensors, the system's control unit constantly calculates the optimal values for each individual wheel.
It analyzes the driver's style and the condition of the road and adaptively adjusts the way the dampers work.
The driver can use the sport button to switch between the normal map and sport mode.
In normal mode - with low fluid viscosity and high flow - the car rolls in a balanced manner,
In sport mode - with the flow inhibited - it sits uncompromisingly taut on the road.

Every shock absorber goes through a quality check.
In the corresponding test bench, the efficiency of the shock absorber is evaluated with regard to the corresponding requirement.
