Description
This offer consists of a new air spring from Miessler Automotive® - original design.
This is a repair kit for the entire shock absorber.
This repair set is not available as an original spare part. So you would have to buy a complete strut.
Repairing the shock absorber only makes sense if the shock absorber still has sufficient efficiency.
This repair set cannot be used for oily shock absorbers. In this case we cannot give a two-year guarantee.
We would be happy to make you an offer for diagnosis and installation (repair) in our own vehicle workshop.
Please contact us by clicking on the button: “Question about the product”.

Danger!!!
Your vehicle's suspension is based on a combination of electronically controlled leveling and bellows filled with nitrogen 5 or CO2.
The pressure in the system MUST have an initial pressure of 17 bar after replacing any spare parts, such as compressor, air spring, valve and/or shock absorber.
A compressor can only compensate for the pressure difference to a limited extent.
Basically, the relevant installation instructions from the car manufacturer MUST be followed.
If you do not follow this and your system continues to malfunction; or if a spare part purchased from us is damaged for this reason, this is not subject to warranty or guarantee.
Completely emptying the system is the general requirement of the car manufacturer. After replacing the corresponding spare part, the system MUST be refilled with CO2 or nitrogen 5 in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
This can only be done with appropriate software and special tools.
Only then can you start further steps, such as calibration or commissioning of the level control.

Danger:
-Never set down the vehicle with unfilled air springs!
-Check the air suspension system for leaks.
-Leave the vehicle completely from the lift.
After the repair, make sure that the system is absolutely tight.
Park the vehicle and wait for the system to automatically readjust (if your vehicle has this function).
Measure all air-supported heights (floor to lower edge of fender) exactly and note the distances.
Compare the distances with the values the next day. Even a small deviation in the distances leads to long-term damage to the compressor and the valves.
