The Daimler-Chrysler merger in the 1990's was an unholy alliance.....BUT....it introduced some great cars and this motorcycle.
The Viper was a combination Corvette/Kit Car......a fiberglass body, side curtains (no windows initially), 4 speed stick, V-10 engine and side-pipes.
The Challenger is a combination 'Cuda/Challenger from the 1960's and 1970's. Produced as a hardtop only, the car can be ordered with 6 cylinders and meager features, or optioned with V-8 power and lots of creature comforts. It competes with the Camaro and Mustang, in all trims.
The Tomahawk motorcycle made the Auto Show circuit in 2003, and sported the Viper's V-10 engine, boasting 500 hp and weighing in at 1500 lbs. It had 2 front and 2 rear wheels, close together, giving it stand alone stability when parked, and each wheel was independent to allow for leaning into turns. It never made production but special orders were filled at $500K each.
If you're a fan of the Dodge brand, you'll love these. The Viper, made by Paul's Model Art, a Minichamps company, has all the impressive details; interior, emblems, and wheels. This is a 1993 model, according to the box, which is included....the display case has disappeared. The Challenger, made by New Ray, is a 2006 model. This brand is not known for detail, but this particular one is superior. Both the box and display case have disappeared. The Tomahawk, by Hot Wheels, is 1/64 scale, but it displays well with the cars. The V-10 is visible as are the separate 4 wheels. All 3 models are included here. I've dropped the price from $75 for the 2 cars, to $65 for all 3 models. All will be carefully wrapped for shipment worldwide. Let me know what you think........
