Beautiful landscape with bright ,fresh colors. It was definitely kept away from the light.

His reputation as an artist and teacher was well-known in Colorado and beyond, and one of his last endeavors was to create the nonprofit Davis Art Process and Media Learning Center, where he could share with apprentices all that he knew from welding to art business and creative techniques.

He helped found the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture and was the executive director for the Western Colorado Center for the Arts (The Art Center) in the late '80s and early '90s.
