Important Info:
+ Do not use around children under the age of 5 as they may be able to hear the ultrasound.
+ Most dogs will be able to hear the ultrasound, so we recommened not using the devices around these pets.
+ It's good practice to carefully look for holes of entry into the property and bung those holes to ensure rodents can't return once they have moved away.
+ As ultrasonic waves do not pass through solid objects, please ensure the surrounding area is clear of furniture and the device is 30cm/1ft above ground level.
+ After plugging in allow 45 seconds before plugging in a second repeller in the same room.
+ As with all ultrasonic repellers it can take 3 weeks to notice results. Pests may increase during the first week as they try to escape the area covered by the device.
+ The button on the side of the device alters light brightness only, for maximum impact the ultrasonic sound is set to loudest by default and does not change.
+ If there is a serious infestation the Sonic Broom repellers can be less effective and in this case it's probably better to call in pest control.

Repelling Pests - Expert Advice
Preventing mice and rats from entering your property:
Exterior walls – Check outside walls for holes usually made for feeding cables and pipes. Then bung any holes to ensure rodents can't return once they have moved away.
Doors – Fit bristle strips to the bottom of doors to prevent an easy entry point, especially watch out for gaps in older buildings, where the door edges may not be flush with the door frame.
Pipework – Fix any holes around pipes with stainless steel wire wool and caulking.
Roof holes – Once the roof gaps have been repaired use a wire mesh to seal surface gaps.
Lawns and Vegetation – Keep all grass mown short to reduce shelter for rodents. Avoid allowing plants to grow up the sides of a property, as vines and overhanging branches can be used by mice to get onto roofs.
Furniture - As ultrasonic waves do not pass through solid objects, please ensure the surrounding area is clear of furniture and the device is 30cm/1ft above ground level.
