'Ego of Youth' is a collection of poetry written by Willow Macky between the ages of eight and fifteen. Some of the poems are accompanied with illustrations drawn by the author herself. Poems include 'Autumn Magic', 'Woodland Lullaby', 'River Thieves', and 'Pan'.
Willow Macky (1921-2006) was a New Zealand songwriter and folk singer. Macky was awarded the Queens Service Medal for community service in 2006.
With an introduction by J. W. Shaw.

CONDITION
In the publisher' original paper wraps, along with a dustwrapper attached to spine of paper wraps, as issued. Externally, smart. Some discolouration to margins of wraps, with a few marks to wraps. Some edgewear along spine. Author's ink inscription on front end paper. Prior owner's pencil inscription in German to rear end paper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout, with minimal age-toning to a few pages.
