SOME COMMON SYMPTOMS OF A FAULTY COMMS UNIT

The indicators always over cancel, resulting in indicating the opposite way.
The indicator arm all floppy and loose.
The indicator flashes a few times then stops and sometimes the lights come on, green light on dash.
The high beam light has a tendency to come on its own or does it not come on at all, blue light on dash.
The airbag fault, the air bag light comes on.
The ESP warning light comes on.
The dipped beam light randomly has a tendency to come on its own, green light on dash.
The horn doesn't work.
These are just some of the common faults with the failing coms switch indicater light wiper stalk unit top steering column switch.

PLEASE NOTE: JUST BECAUSE YOUR VEHICLE MAYBE SHOWING SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS LISTED ABOVE IT MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE DUE TO THE COMS UNIT, THE PROBLEM MAY STILL BE DUE TO SOMETHING ELSE OR MAYBE THERE IS MORE THAN ONE PROBLEM ON THE CIRCUIT OR VEHICLE WHICH MAY REQUIRE FURTHER DIAGNOSTICS EITHER BY A MECHANIC OR AUTO ELECTRICIAN.

Any units that have ESP will be calibrated so there is no need to pay to have this procedure done after refitting the unit, simply follow the advice provided when refitting the unit.

No botched quick fix repairs here, Only quality replacement parts and workmanship. You can either post your coms unit to me and once repaired I will return it in the post to you or You can bring the item to me to be repaired.

If you intend to send the item to me to be repaired please remove the radio control stalk and cruise control stalk (if fitted, not all comms units have them) from the coms unit before you send it, this will reduce the weight and as a result the cost of shipping the item, these additional stalks simply slide out of the coms unit from the side, it's a very simple procedure, if you need any advice please contact me on 07706669761.
