Timeless evening dress from the dressmaking genius John Galliano. This dress was introduced in 1998 as part of his evening wear collection and carried over into several seasons afterwards due to client popularity.

Very rare! The buy was very small in the larger sizes. Less than 10 of this dress were sold in the USA.

The fabric is draped on the bias, a signature of Galliano, and featured black florals. The front also has the signature drape of Galliano’s bias cut dresses by the cleavage.

Very good condition for the age. 

There is wear to the very bottom of the the slit (photographed). There’s some light wear to the fabric but no stains or holes. The zipper has some scratches to the finish (pictured).

John Galliano dresses are among the most coveted and valuable pieces for collectors. This is a piece that will only appreciate in rarity and value over time.
