These coins are from the collection of a member in their 70's. Her father gave them every year for her birthday until her wedding.  It was a gift given with love and received in love. The ancient Greeks had a tradition of passing a loved gift to another to magnify the effect of the love.  Our donor wishes the love to be amplified as you give or receive these necklaces.   Her father had gotten several rolls of dollars in the late 1940's and continued the tradition of giving his children and grandchildren one with their birthday presents.  All are nice, and many of the coins are in almost perfect (BU) condition.
