All D'Addario acoustic strings are wound on a hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core, resulting in long lasting, bright sounding tone with excellent intonation. These strings are environmentally friendly in corrosion resistant packaging that for strings that are always fresh. These strings are also made in the U.S.A. for the highest quality and performance. The bronze lite come in plain steel gauges of .012 and .016 and bronze wound gauges of .024, .032, .042, and .053.
