A charming and very unusual antique Irish bog oak pendant, modelled as a Bible. The piece with carved text to the front ‘Holy Bible 1877’ and to the spine ‘Alice P’. Gold gilding used to imitate the pages of the Bible. A metal suspension loop to the top for wearing.

Height excluding suspension loop 3.5cm, width 2.8cm, depth 1cm.

Some minor surface wear as expected with age however this does not detract. The suspension loop stable and ready to wear or display. Please be guided by the photographs and feel free to ask any questions.
