The Proton-411 portable cassette recorder has been produced by the Kharkov Proton Radio Plant since 1987. A tape recorder assembled on transistors and microcircuits is intended for recording or playing back phonograms on magnetic tape A-4207-3B or similar in standard MK-60 cassettes. Number of tracks - 2. Tape pulling speed 4.76 cm/sec. Detonation - 0.4%. The range of frequencies recorded and reproduced through the linear output is 63...10000 Hz, the range of frequencies reproduced by the internal speaker is 200...5000 Hz. The power supply is universal, from the mains or from 4 elements of type 343. Rated output power is 0.5 W. Power consumption 8 W. Model dimensions 157x254x55 mm. Weight 1.3 kg. Includes power supply unit UVIP-1. Since 1988, the tape recorders have been called ''Proton M-411''
