This item is listed as brand new because that is the exact same way I received it. Any flaws of any kind that you might see were there when I got the item originally.

In this case, the front cover has a tiny rip on the right side near the middle. Along the left side of the front cover near the binding there are signs of creases and wear. The pages inside look very nice, and the back cover has one small curl near the top left corner.

I only opened this item to take photos for you, so it has had very minimal handling by me.
